Walk for the Environment

Every year to commemorate World Environment Day (5th June), the Saint Lucia National Trust organises a major national walk which brings many people together to make a bold and supportive statement for the conservation of the environment. Over the years thousands of people have participated.

In June 2000, the Trust introduced a new component which involves preparing a 'Declaration' for signature by all participants and then submitting the 'Declaration' with the signatures to the Ministers of Government and the media.

If you are in Saint Lucia in early June, call the Trust and register to participate.
